2:4. এলিয় ইলীশায়কে আদেশ করলেন, “তুমি এখানেই থাকো কারণ প্রভু আমাকে য়িরীহোতে য়েতে বলেছেন|”কিন্তু ইলীশায় আবার বললেন, “আমি জীবন্ত প্রভু এবং আপনার নামে শপথ করে বলছি য়ে আমি আপনাকে ছেড়ে যাব না!” তখন তাঁরা দুজনে এক সঙ্গেই য়িরীহোতে গেলেন|

2:4. Elijah said to him, "Elisha, stay here, for the LORD has sent me to Jericho." But he replied, "As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So they went to Jericho.
